Right now she likes to watch and laugh at me. I'm trying to convince her to participate with her new Buck Mark. She'd probably outshoot and outscore me though...

One thing I know is next time I'll toss a couple of folding chairs into the car for those times of sitting around between stages. The SCRAP folks provided ice, water and lemonade for hydration. They take a break between stages 4 & 5 for eats, which they have for the minimal cost of $5 per person. Smelled good whatever it was they were offering. We didn't partake as we had plans of our own but next time we'll likely stay for the grub and conversation.
Most shooters were using .22LR (cheap), though a couple of guys were using 9mm and a young man (looked about 16 years old) whose name I think is Kelly was there with his grandfather shooting a .45ACP. His shooting was impressive to say the least.
You know, Patti has beaten me a time or two. And whether she beats me or not she still laughs at me sometimes. But that's okay because she is a hoot to watch. Especially when she forgets the stage and just does her own thing. I gotta give it to her she doesn't ever quit. She's a lot better shot than she gives herself credit for sometimes.
Hi guys, are we still on for the eat and shoot? I've been swamped lately and haven't kept up at all. If we are, I will call Ken about Sunday and make sure it's still okay fir us to come out. Somebody send me a PM and let me know.
I think so I just don't know a date...somebody wanna speak up and throw a date out there?
I think Sunday has a date ... like the 17th ... maybe ... anyhow ... we can come out in the afternoon on Sunday. I'll do my usual and bake on Saturday ...
