Reading all this Block stuff is a bit amusing. Just me but I would add one to my collection if free. The Corps put a 1911 in my hand in 1953 and I have had
one within reach ever since. It fits my hand, it hits where I aim and its reliable and its metal

Yeah.... so do Glocks. This coming from a REAL 1911 owner. :D :D

My favorite to shoot is my Taurus 1911 but as far as a carry piece
its a Taurus PT145


Now I'm confused....:scratch:

You trust your life to a Taurus pt145, but a Glock isn't worthy. Check.
