I just had the fan assembly for my edge delivered from Rockauto. Fedex was the carrier, the spot that power plugs into on the fan controller was broke off so I cant install it. Just had a roll of paper around it in the box though. Box was pretty beat up, multiple holes and one side caved in. Sad part is, I ordered the OEM after getting two defective fan/fan controllers from O'reillys.

My company uses FedEx exclusively. I've been getting packages two to four times a week for the last five years with only one issue. Of course, we usually only use next day early am or next day P1 delivery, so it cuts down the amount of time the packages has to get messed up.. My ground packages have been fine too.

sad part is that people still think paper is good for packing, paper flattens when weight is put on it.

as for O'reillys, I do a pickup at their warehouse off Macarthur and nw 2nd street, you'd be frightened to see how they ship stuff.

We have a 50 foot covered front porch. The UPS guy seems to have the energy to get out of his truck and leave things at the front door. The FEDEX people (it seems a different one each time) has repeatedly left stuff by the garage door and the back door where the stuff is exposed to the weather.

I would never use FEDEX if I had another option.

I've had Fedex say that they can't find my house. It was built about 10 years ago and is on Google maps and they've found it several times in the past. I've had drivers say that packages were delivered when they weren't, they would deliver them the next day. Or had drivers say that no one was available when my wife was here all day waiting. One excuse after another. They are a joke. I'd never use them if given a choice.
