As others here have said, there's really no point to such a document if it's not signed and notarized. The FFL transfer and 4473 route would be the way to go if she - er, I mean, her b/f - really is that concerned. I'd be tempted to tell the b/f to lighten up.

I went ahead and used the form, but all I did was sign it, she was ok with that and said her BF was just being paranoid, lol. She also said he had searched the gun SR # to make sure it wasn't stolen.... I get being paranoid maybe, but I try to be paranoid BEFORE handing over cash and taking possession of a gun, lol.
