First ar build

Looking at building an ar15 very soon but i cant decide what caliber i should make it. I am looking at the standard .223, 300 blackout, and 7.62x39. What would you choose? any notable pros/cons? Thanks in advance all!

I'd choose something you can find ammo for at this point.

It would be either 5.56(.223) or 300blk. Do you reload? Are you going to SBR and/or suppress? If you don't reload, get the 5.56. If you are going to suppress, get the 300blk. Just my opinion. I would say go 5.56 for your first AR.

With 7.62 you might have trouble finding a bolt. Everything is pretty thin right now, but for parts availability a 556 or 300 may be the easiest to come by.
