Arnold, a family friend, was known for his severe flatulence. He loved red beans and had them 3 meals a day.
We are sitting in church and this gut wrenching smell wafts through the church.
Bad enough, the Preacher dismissed church.
We get home and they family is gathering for lunch. My Grandmother had 6 sisters and her Mother living within 2 blocks. Sunday family dinner was a tradition.
Food is being prepared and my Grandmother says, "Arnold let loose a woozy, I couldn't breathe."
Her sister says, " Poor Arnie will get the blame, THAT WAS MOM!"
My Great-Grandmother, all 4'9" 88# sits there giggling.
