Are you saying it's dangerous to eat properly prepared chicken, because of bird flu?
And I'll add, I dont get my info from the fake news. Have you learned anything in the last 20 or more years? The media tells you what to think, not whats truth.
I think from what I am told from the USDA, this has much to do with eradication of the bird flu so before it mutates and can effect humans. Those birds that test positive are destroyed, my guess at, 2000 degrees, or buried in a deep hole maybe.
This is no Gov. conspiracy, but I know there are some tinfoil heads here that will never believe that.
This isnt Covid. Its the F-in Flu. and its been around centuries.

Bird and swine flu are real and if you don't believe me, get one of them back yard birds from CA and make ya some smoked chicken for dinner.
Report back, oh, you won't be able to.
I did not say it wasn't real. I didn't say that I didn't believe that any person had come down with it.

I did say I'm not worried about it and the news is trying to gin up fear, and re affirm their "importance" in our everyday lives.

I did say that the news has been barking about bird flu for quite some time as a world ending pandemic.

I did say that it is curious that Pharma at the gov't request already has a vaccine that truly hasn't crossed the species barrier on a common basis.

I did say I would take precautions to not contract an illness.

As for eating california "wild" birds or other fowl effected by the illness, nope, not knowingly. All fowl will be cooked. I will not be getting the chicken, crow, sparrow or robin sushi in the future.

Also, look at this, a movie about a bird flu Pandemic from 2006 (might actually watch it, has Joely Richardson in it and she is awfully easy on the eyes, at least 18 years ago):

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800026/

This one wasn't as direct, it came out in 2009, Initial cause of the flu - birds (saw it, not as good as IMDB states):

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0806203/

So, in movies bird flu has been a boogeyman for at least 18 + years. Many diseases are not normally contracted by humans, but may be if a person has a co morbidity or immune deficiency.

Are turkeys in season now?

This is interesting. As mentioned above, 'bird flu' has been a boogeyman for decades.

From a Human healthcare perspective, what's the danger in 'bird flu'?
Obviously, it's just another flu.

Is there any medically documented dangers of the 'bird flu' to a HEALTHY human with NO comorbidity?
Otherwise, it's just another flu that kills elderly/weak/compromised people - just like the last 100's of years....

The Spanish Flu was the first one observed to attack and kill younger folks, but healthcare was far poorer back then. The Spanish Flu killed more people than WW I.

Look who's pushing the narrative now, the same players on the deck of cards that made Covid a lockdown champ.

Perhaps they should volunteer to test the new vaccine before it is offered to the public.

Agreed. I know there are REAL flu strands that are fatal to healthy people.

I was specifically asking about the 'bird flu'..

Also, I only quoted you for context of discussion. I wasn't specifically asking you. Sorry if there's any confusion.

No problem. I get that. I think any new strain of flu does deserve some attention. However what I have learned from Covid:

1) If it is a threat the CDC, News and Especially the politicians will say it's not an issue in the early stages

2) When it becomes a problem they will over react

3) They will work to take your rights or to show fealty through mask wearing, shelter indoors and in place and praising health care workers and pharma.

I did want to say totally ignoring a new virus is not wise, but approaching it with common sense by taking age old common sense precautions. So, not directed towards you, I believe we share much similar opinions.

So what are we gonna do. Stay home? Triple the price of groceries? Mask up? 6 feet apart? Pay through pieces of plexiglass? Hug loved ones with trash bags on? Let loved ones go alone in hospitals? Cancel all schools? Eat with plastic silverware in tents? Have some more *** passports? Tune in to cnn and check cdc website every hour? Shut the country down? Do we need 2 weeks of shut down to flatten the curve?

Don't be scared of that flat black silhouette behind you, it's just your shadow.

Anthony Fauci and his team at the Wuhan Laboratory have been working feverishly to engineer a chimeric version of the avian influenza virus with gain of function enabling it to infect human subjects. It is heart warming to see that they have finally been successful even though the planned deadline for release of this disease was intended to have occurred with sufficient time to create a devastating pandemic to delay Presidential Election last November…..
