The SR22 is nice.

that's what I've been reading that the SR22 and M&P are the best bang for the buck. the reason I ordered both was to do a side by side comparison. After I decide which one I like the most the other will be going to my niece for her Christmas present. I got the SR22 for 280.00 shipped NIB and the M&P for $300.00 shipped NIB

Newly acquired M&P 15-22 with Magpul AFG, Hogue grip, and S&W Galaxy 9 LED tac light in a 30mm mount.

The AFG is just the PTS version which was less than $17 shipped. The fit and finish is fine and it is plenty durable for use on a rimfire weapon. The only negative point about the grip is that the center bolt is 1/4" too long so it required cutting, filing, and rebluing. The light setup was only $24...$12 for the light at Academy and $12 shipped for the mount off of eBay. Just need to add some rail covers and a sling now...
