Fishing Lake Texoma ???

What do I need to fish there? I have my lifetime fishing license, but is there something else I will need for a few days of fishing? I live near Lake Elsworth and for that Lake you need a city of lawton permit and a license. Anything like that me and my family might need?

We also have a few people going that don't have their lifetime license or a fishing license at all.

Don't cross south of the channel or you will need the Texoma license or Texas fishing license (one or the other).

Just get a Texoma license ($12) and don’t worry about it. The best striper fishing is the channel outside Alberta Creek just before the RR bridge.

You can buy a Texoma license without a TX or OK license.

If you don't cross the Red River channel (not marked on the lake) you need Oklahoma Fishing license. A $12 Lake Texoma license allows you to fish anywhere on the lake.

The channel/state line is marked on most (maybe all) maps on boat electronics.

Thanks for all the info everyone. We went out this morning and did pretty well. Me and my 2 boys and my sons gf caught 36, but probably had to throw back another 40 or 50 that were to big. Couldn't find the smaller ones, which is a weird problem to have. lol. We caught around 70 total with our friends that were on another boat.
