I'm not a Musberger fan, but he's not in my fan club either.

It did get me started thinking, does any one remember back in "The Day", it was a year BYU was pretty highly ranked (I think a Detmer was QB) so was OU, but OU may have had a loss. The game I was watching was televised on ESPN and the announcer said flat out that he would never vote for OU to be #1, on air. I think he may have said as long as Switzer was coach, but, I'm not positive about that.

Does anyone else remember that? Who was the announcer?

Alcoholics everywhere love the excitement Musberger brings to drinking games. Beyond that, he sucks the fun out of what would otherwise be a pleasant experience.
