Ford 302 or 351W?

they do but a 351 cam will go in a 302 and visa-versa if its a stock cam for the block...there is 3 or 4 different firing orders for small block fords. I ran into that issue on a engine swap in my '84 fullsize bronco i had

Easy to tell the difference there: 302/351W have 6-bolt valve covers; 351C/M valve covers have 8 bolts per side.

Lol, that would be something though, on the pics I've seen, the upper radiator hose goes into the intake manifold, so it's either a 302, or a 351w.

Yeah, you'd know that one as soon as you raised the hood. The 351C is one of my favorites (as are early Broncos).

Either use the pic Moboost posted or check firing order. 351W is 1-3-7. 302 is 1-5-4. 302HO is the same as 351W but it would need to be a later transplant engine.
