Opened up a new hole in the Ozone as well. Freon not involved.

The '90s were great for fear porn. We had those poor Australians with their hole in the ozone layer because of hairspray, killer bees were going to kill us, and those of us who survived those were going to get turned into puddles of goo from acid rain. Then there was the everlasting threat of the ring of fire with all of the volcanos and earthquakes going off. And then to top it off we got to end the decade with computers ending humanity with Y2K. I'm sure there were other things that were going to kill us all. These soft as Charmin tards today only have to worry about "carbon footprints" and hurt feelings.

I remember in the '80s when the experts were worried about another ice age occuring. That didn't last too long.
