If he can ban one ammo for being armor piercing he can ban a lot more. Especially considering that all rifle ammo chambered in a pistol is going to be armor piercing.
I don't even own a AK74 but I do realize that a win for them is a lose for us.

This being Indian Country, ya gottsta give props to Obama for his work with tribes and on tribal issues.
From what I can gather, the ATF and CBP requested the ban and pushed it through the necessary govt. channels, and Obama had little to do with it. That being said, it doesn't take away the good things Obama has done. I certainly don't support Obama, but I can give credit where it's due. And just because we may disagree about an issue doesn't mean those opinions aren't welcomed here, because they are. Someone asked a legitimate question in the original post, so we might want to consider the legitimate responses that follow.
If 0bama didn't support the bans he would have stopped them from doing it.
Another awesome thing 0bama has done is made the NRA and Firearms Manufacturers boat loads of money. If he hadn't been elected I probably wouldn't have become a gun owner (or at least to the extent that I am). The more he wants to ban them, the people want to buy them, the more people buy the harder they are to ban. I'm loving it
I think the Senate and House of Representatives are much more threatening to gun bans than the President, regardless of who is currently President. And the mass murderers have given much more to the manufacturers/NRA than the President could ever dream of.
