I think it's convenient and opportunistic for the D's to label R's as racist over immigration policy while at the same time offering no real solution to the problem. The powers in the D party would love to use these blanket statements about R's to further their political agenda and to attempt to pad their rolls.

Speaking as a registered R, I believe that our immigration system is completely broken and needs serious reform. I am for immigration, but I want the people coming here to be legitimate citizens who have gone through the background check, immunizations, oath of citizenship, and pay taxes and contribute to the system and our society. The current system is overwhelmed and antiquated.
I don't think either party has ever been really serious about addressing the problem. They have both had the opportunity on more than one occasion. But the "GOP is Racist" talking point is too easy and effective for the democrats to ever let it go.
Someone did a study once about negative campaign ads, the negatives of both candidates went up when a negative ad was run, but the target of the ad had higher gain on the negatives than the sponsor (?).
So as long as democrats can scream racist and it's picked up by any media, they get a net gain.

No deflections JB, you said the D's are more inclusive and I've asked how that's so. Please just answer the question. :)
They want to include your IRA and 401K in a pool that would be fair to people who couldn't or wouldn't save.
Then they will want to include your gold, then..........

I think the real question is:

When JB goes to his InfraGuard meetings with his list of OSA "domestic terrorists", does that makes him a "racist" against us ???

Do you believe there is a racist element in the GOP?

Similar to the one in the Democratic Party except probably not as bad. There are racist elements in any group.

Who calls everything in disagreement with the Democratic Party racist? The Democratic Party

How could anybody possible be against Obama without being racist? Maybe we just disagree with his policies.

Who is it that keeps "slavery" alive through ubiquitous welfare checks and food stamps instead of job training and accountability? Dems

Where did gun control come from? Jim Crow laws enacted by southern Democrats during civil war reconstruction.. Who is all about gun control? Dems

Why must everything be about race? Because some people keep it at the forefront and promote it as the cause of all our division. Those people are the democrats.

I submit to you that there is enough racism to go around in both parties but instead o actually doing anything about it the democrats point at the GOP and the GOP doesn't have the balls to fight back. I will also submit to you that there is much reverse discrimination in play today.
