Steve at Cold Hand Arms asked me to convert a 9mm AR-15 barrel in to a 9mm barrel for his new PPSH-41. Here are a few pics.

You can keep one clean, but you must commit to cleaning up it up after every day of use, at least. A good wet-dry shop vac will do you wonders. It also helps preserve the look of your machine. Rather than wiping and rubbing the sharp chips around scraping off the paint slowly, it just sucks them up. Coolant is usually the worst enemy of paint, though. Softens it up over time...
