I was looking at safes from Patriot safes today on their website. They had some really good prices on the scratch and dent's, but it required me to set up an account to browse. Well immediately after signing up, my phone started blowing up. That damn safe company must have called me 5 times in the first hour. Who has their employees do that? On a Sunday! I don't care what they have to offer, I will never purchase a safe from them.
Ditto... this is why I refuse to give out a phone number when registering for websites unless I'm buying from them already. I despise companies that use this type of marketing.
Of course, expressing those kinds of opinions around here can get you into some problems, so be careful who you say it about.
Just my experience, but thanks for sharing about Patriot so I will know to avoid them in the future. I don't plan on supporting companies with that type of business model.
That stuff really P's me off as well. That's why I just shop locally. The online guys make their extra cash by selling your name and info.
