.....Now, there's a new twist to the crime... guns. Many people have permits to carry concealed weapons, but many places don't allow guns inside, so the person leaves it in the car.

"The people that are losing these guns are good people, people who've gone through background checks, people who deserve to carry these guns," Williams said. "The people getting a hold of them are people you don't want to have them.".....

All the more reason to decriminalize carrying at any public place. You do not always know if your destination is going to have a gunbuster or not. We need to petition our legislature to address this issue.

why are people leaving them in there car when they are parked at home? but ya it would be nice to pass some "more relaxed" laws but if they cant agree on a simple "open carry law" anything new wont ba passed anytime soon...

FYI, ignoring a "no guns" sign is actually not a criminal act unless it is a place that is specifically prohibited by the SDA.

I read the SDA to say that a property owner can charge you with trespassing if found carrying on their property. I just want the chance to leave without penalty of law if the business owner does not want me carrying there.
