I have been lucky and have pretty much what I want right now in the way of guns, mags, etc. Right now. So I have been watching and learning during the hysteria.

Well today I was at the MWC wal mart, and I am looking at the cleaned out ammo shelves, and of course there are no AR15s......Then this customer walked up and says to the clerk "do you have any ARs?". The clerk says "yes, what are you interested in, we have plenty"......

The customer said he wanted a Colt, and the sale went through, the clerk went to the back and got his shiny new colt ar15. The clerk said they were not "displaying them, but we have plenty"

I just had to chuckle, given the current state of affairs.

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas.

That's pretty funny. I'm assuming WM is not price gouging either? So people are going nutz driving all over town and finding bare shelves while they can go pick up a quality AR at a good price at their neighborhood Walmart. Gotta love America. ;)

I should clarify my chuckle is not at anyone having to try to acquire things in this period of time, but at the whole situation we are stuck in.

If I was not LUCKY to already have what I am comfortable with, I would be in the same situation, trying to acquire what I wanted before it was gone.

People were walking all around oblivious to this guy standing at the counter with the box being opened on his new AR15, and I thought if this were in some gun shops right now it would be like black Friday.

I just called all of them around Tulsa/BA/Sand Springs and there are no AR's of any kind...

As in sold out or as in not available for sale? When people first starting posting about stores pulling AR's off the shelves I thought to myself, "What are they doing with them all?" Sending them back to their distributors? They are probably happy to have them given the current climate but still.
