Halloween candy thread

So what are your favorite items to pick out of your kids' candy haul???

I had to work out of town, so I have no idea what my son got, but you can bet I'll be getting my "mandated tithe" over the next few weeks.

Personally I am a Reese's cup fan, along with Twix, Kit Kat and Snickers, 100 Grands, occasional Butterfingers, Crackle and Almond Joy (Baby Ruths are boring). Oh and Paydays, too!

Not a fan of most of the wrapped candies, although we'll be snacking on Jolly Ranchers and Rolos for a couple months, I'm sure.

Those big orange foam peanuts can go get bent. People who give those out obviously want a new insurance-funded paint job on their houses from all the egg damage they deserve to be getting!


Some guy last year in Bartlesville I heard was giving out original real silver dollars, and inviting parents in for a glass of wine or a beer. What a jip, I missed out on that house!

Even though they're practically the same thing, Skor > Heath. Skor is my #1 favorite candy bar.

Baby Ruth bars are boring? How? They're loaded with goodies. Want a boring candy bar? Bite into a 3 Musketeers or Milky Way. Thems candy bars for women with no teeth! Maybe even moreso than a stupid regular Hershey bar.

My all time favorite is grape flavored Nerds. Butterfingers, Pay Day, Baby Ruth, Krackle, Mr Goodbar, and Almond Joys are also excellent loot items.

Stupid candies include Tootsie Rolls, except the vanilla and cherry flavored ones, those peanut butter chews in waxy black and orange wrappers, and Dots. Who the hell likes Dots?!

Besides black licorice, there is on such thing as a disgusting candy. I just think, why waste your time on something like Tootsie Rolls when there's so many better options out there?

I honestly look forward to the little peanut butter bars in the striped wrappers, but will eat just about any candy.

Reese's are my favorite. Especially the pumpkins/trees/eggs shaped ones. Reese's pieces are disgusting.

Dots are probably my favorite grab out of the crappy candy assortments. You know the ones that come with 14 different kinds of tootsie rolls. Tootsie rolls suck too.
