In my concealed carry class, a lady asked John Zane about the notion of women not possessing a killing instinct, being nurturers and so forth. I thought too late to say, "If there are children involved, Mama Bear will come to the fore."

Funny Buckeye....My momma says the same thing!! For my wife it there are two things about her shooting now. 1. Now she knows how to handle the .45 I have kept on my nightstand for years. 2. It is a little empowering for her. While she definitely doesn't want to have to use it she doesn't feel so defenseless when alone.
