Although a quick target aquisition sight and not intended for precision, the Big Dot has aided my accuracy. My shot placement has improved, and it can be no coincidence that my improvement occurred with the implementation of this sight.

This thread is awesome. Its like reading a western gun comic. I've been looking to get a glock 19... but after seeing your planks, I can't help but wonder what a 9mm would do.

9mm are fine. The wood 0311 is using is from the stifwood iron nut tree. It's not your standard yellow pine. A typical Glock 19 9mm will easily penetrate 2 2-by's particularly if you're using some of the new defense ammo.
