It gets confusing as the media calls the Sand Springs Line (Chas. Page Blvd.) west Tulsa and also call SWB West Tulsa. We never called Charles Page Blvd. area west Tulsa and called our selves line boys. It got the name Sand Springs Line from the street car days as that was the route from Tulsa to Sand Springs. That is also why they have Bruner Station, Vern Station etc. as they were stops for the street car. There is still a Sand Springs RR that operates on the tracks from Tulsa to Sand springs.
