Get off my lawn.
Letter I just recieved back from my Senator

Thank you for sharing your views. I voted against OPEN Carry last time
and will listen to the debate again this time. However, I think the
Troopers are important to our safety and they oppose the bill.

Jim Halligan? I voted for him. What a a-hole.

I just sent him an email informing him that I'd be fighting against his re-election. I'm still registered to vote in his district. I have the forms filled out to re register, but maybe I'll wait to vote against him.

For real? The Troopers are against this bill? Why? Can we vote them out?

I want to know if they are actually against it, or if it's because their union/boss/figure-head has told them that they should be against it, or influenced them in some way. Whether it passes or not, their lives will still be in danger from the same thugs as they are today. I have always held the troopers (and all LEO's for that matter) in high regard, but this disappoints me.

I wrote letters to both my Senator and Representative even though both voted nay in the initial vote and neither one of them has the nerve to reply. I shall remember in November. Kinda rymes don't it.
