Got in a 2 mile run today. It's been a few years since I could run like the wind (got out of PT for a few years) but I am finally able to complete my circuit without stopping to walk. Feeling pretty good, getting my running legs back underneath me.
Once I am comfortable with this 2 mile run, I will bump up the distance. Warmer weather is really encouraging me.

A few years ago I was working out fairly consistently with a friend of mine doing Starting Strength 5x5 program and got my squat and deadlift up to 300#, Barbell row to around 200# and bench to around 180# (pathetic I know). Life got in the way, my friend moved to Tulsa and I stopped going to the gym entirely.

I just recently started the program over completely and holy cow my lifts are very embarrassing. That being said, I know the program works and I know that I can only get better. Oh, and I'm freaking sore now.
