Just turned South on Peoria and here comes a mounted truck tire flying off of I-44.

Somehow it missed 4 cars on the three bounces before landing on the Highway grass o. The east side of Peoria.

So how was your morning commute?

About a year ago I was driving down Broadway extension following a utility pickup that was pulling a trailer. It hit a bump and a lug wrench bounced off hit the ground and was coming at me like a throwing star. It popped up and hit that chunk of metal between the windshield and the passenger window then bounced of the roof and down the road. Someone was looking after me that day. 1 inch to the left i would probably have came though the windshield...two to the right and it would come through the passenger side window.

A friend in high school was killed when he was driving down I44 and a set of dually wheels and tires came off of a semi trailer. Saved the lives of his best friend and girlfriend by swerving and taking the hit on the driver side. Very dangerous stuff, glad it missed everyone.

I was driving on I-45 through Houston and a lowered Ford Lightning hit a bump in front of me and the drive shaft fell out of it! It slid for a little ways and then it turned side ways and started bouncing up and down...we swerved to the shoulder and missed it, but thing would've done some damage!

I was driving West on the N side of the airport one afternoon following a Nissan PU that had a new, in the box, electric range in the bed. That being the area most known for being windy you can imagine what happened. The look on the passengers face watching that new stove come apart and cartwheel past my truck is hard to forget.
