You would be incorrect. Private property is private; the owner (or lessee, etc.) can set the terms for entry.
Then I would say they are responsible if anything happens.......under duress they disarmed.....
My wife and I were in a wreck, not unconscious, and when the Sheriff's Deputy noticed we had our permits, asked if we wanted him to hold the guns while the EMT's checked us out.
If you are unconscious after a wreck, my last worry would be about my gun.
Good thing mine aren't weapons ... they're medical devices used for therapy to relieve stress.
Or you could say they're not weapons, they're "personal protection tools, which I would happily use in defense of not only myself but everyone else on your property should some crazy person come in here with nefarious intent."
