How would we petition to get the knife-laws changed in OK?

I think they should get rid of the "offensive weapon" language. Offensive or defensive depends on who attacks who, not what kind of weapon it is.

i carry a fixed blade, it deploys faster than any auto or assisted knife. not that i carry it for defense, but if need be...

pretty much remove all anti-knife language would be fine with me.

Personally, I would LOVE to see some changes made! Oklahoma knife laws are way too ambiguous to begin with!
Where in the books does it state that if the blade is longer than the officers palm you're either going to jail or at a minimum risking confiscation? Nowhere, that's where. But I have had more than one local LEO tell me that, believe it or not.

What do neighboring states have for knife laws? That seems to carry a lot of weight in many people's minds. If our law is out of step with other states, then that is a good argument for a need to change.
