I have a few Vortex. A DB a couple Crossfire and a Viper. I have been wanting to try one of the 30mm DB FFP Tacticals. They run $350 but with my FFL I can get them for about $60 less. Seems like a lot of scope for the price.
Vortex makes very nice scopes.
Got the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16 in. Liked it so much it went on a Valkyrie build I just finished up. So I put an old Swarovski 4-16 x 50 on the daughters Grendel. Everything turned out pretty nice (Pic angle makes it look like front object is touching but it isn't). Next weekend while we are out west for bonus doe I will be sighting in rifles. I have all the deer meat I can use in a year.
Snuck to Wilshire gun club at lunch and shot on their 100 yard lane. Got a basic sight in then fired a 3 round group. I think it will kill a deer. This group was with Hornady American Gunner bulk 123 gr MHPBT. I should have selected a sight in target but I was in a hurry.
