I called in my meds at Tinker and was told the Hosp was closed Thursday and Friday on account of junethirteenth. DAMMIT!
If I were an Indian, I would be plenty mad that I had no day to remember Sand Creek, Wounded Knee and many other massacres and the broken treaties one after another. Genocide was practiced and no other race in the United States was there an attempt to literally wipe out entire tribes of humans.

I entered Federal service 11 years ago. I had never even heard of Juneteenth until about 4 years ago and only then because the Black Affairs Program set up a table display about it.
