We have a group of 6 California folks that all moved into one house in our neighborhood. Rudest garbage people I’ve ever met. They’ve been here for 18 months, mowed maybe once. All their cars are in various states of decay and so are they. HOA has a lien against their house already for all the BS they’ve kicked up. The old man sold his hut in SF and had enough cash from it to pay for a nice house here and all his adult children and their tag alongs came with.

I was fueling my pickup up , there was 4 vehicles counting mine. 3 of the 4 vehicles had Texas tags.
Ha! You just discribed a very large number of life-long Okies front yard. Except you forgot to mention toys strewn about their yards, piles of old furniture, trees growing through old broken down cars, old broken appliances and sheds half blown over. CA has plenty of white trash but OK hold their own well enough.
