I know we have police officers on here, I need some help and prayer

I been pretty mute on this as it has been going on for some time. Here is the backdrop. My sister gets into a relationship with this guy Rolly (made up name)who is an ex-con. Yes I know I had my doubts about him and he has had to win me over. Well unfortunately my first thoughts were correct and he is a BIG LOSER. (sorry for long rant)


So Rolly had admitted to having relations outside of my sister's relationship since day one.
Admitted to around 6 or more other women.
Rolly lost his job due to two things first was dating a 16 year old, second was for masturbating on the job and got caught
third Rolly has been doing meth for sometime now
Rolly is paranoid about my Brother, Cousin , and I are going to kill him
Has choked my niece and only stopped when my sister woke up
Has put several holes in the walls, the big screen TV is broke, etc.
Tried to run over his mom in his vehicle.
Admitted he was going to kill his boss (with bow and arrow)to my brother and I, but when he went his boss wasnt home.


Christmas eve my brother went to my sisters house and Rolly starts wigging out and threatens my brother, threatens to kill him. So Rolly calls the police and tells them that I am my cousin are in the woods and is going to kill him. Police show up and I guess make a report and ask my brother what is going on. My brother stated that he has been doing meth recently and is paranoid.

So my mom finally convinced my sister to move out and this was Christmas day. So all of the family went there to move her out. Well we tried to get a police escort out there while moving out as he wigged out earlier that day. So the police wouldnt escort unless he was actually there harassing us. So in the process we call his mother and get his bow and arrow and give it to her. She told us to take all the air out of his motorcycle so that he cant take off.

fast forward and my sister is still seeing this guy and spending the nights with him. Well my sister told my mom that he made another police report stating m y brother and I broke his window, and his garage, and we follow him when he leaves the house. All of this is complete lies.

So this is what I am wondering from Police officers. If Rolly makes up lies due to his paranoia and makes a police report, should I worry? What should I do?

I'm not an attorney nor a police officer, my wife has her law degree but refuses to take the BAR and she can't or won't practice or dispense legal advice.


If this were me;

1st. Go to the City Police and the County Sheriff's office, explain your situation and ask them for advice. Especially if someone is trying to make a falsified report on you and others.

2nd. Talk to the Distric Attorney's office and explain the situation and seek their advice.

3rd. Is there a way to see the report and prove (witness and testimony) you weren't there at the time of the incident and state again..how can you protect yourself from false reports.

If your sister is still seeing him voluntarily, you need to stop worrying about her. Easier said than done. If you are genuinely worried about the children, and your sister won't do anything about it, and you want to make it your problem (which may or may not be wise, that is for you to decide) contact the courts and systems, meaning you will need to report them as in a dangerous situation and request a kinship placement so someone more responsible can look after the children.

This isn't your drama, or the nieces' drama. You need to remove you and/or them from it. I've been in similar places with in-laws before. You're in my thoughts.


I won't comment about the false reports, as I am ignorant on those matter, but I personally wouldn't sweat it unless something comes up where charges/warrants are actually presented.

It's sad, but in the eyes of the law, your sister is an adult. SHE needs to file reports on him to get him removed. Until then, not much can be done legally.

As for you, protect yourself with reports and witnesses. The more paperwork you have on him, the more you legally have to stand on.

I know you have her best interests in mind, but as said earlier she can do what she wants. Meth users are typically paranoid. From your description of what's happening, he's a borderline sex offender as well. The legal age of consent in Oklahoma is 16. If you're concerned about your nieces, you may have to go to the extreme of calling DHS and see if they will investigate.

Contact police and make reports. Make sure to get case/incident numbers as soon as you can. Get copies of the reports too. If you feel he is a danger to you, apply for a VPO or restraining order. Multiple recorded incidents before a judge make it easier to get the court order.

I have basically washed my hands of her as she is putting herself into a dangerous situation. However my sister is doing this because she is the only person Rolly will talk to. She thinks she can change him.

however I am unsure what happens now that he put in a police report. I would think the police officers would see the lunacy of his conversation and dismiss it. However what can I do? I will do what cohiba stated but beyond that is there anything I can do? I have my CCW, I have a security clearance for work. I do not want any of those jeopardized in any way. BTW Rolly and my sisters house is in Choctaw.

yes maybe but not by my hands. I am not seeking violence or anything like that. I believe given time he will end up back in prison. BTW he also admitted to selling drugs to make ends meet.
