David Copperfield. (NOT THAT David Copperfield. This David Copperfield: "To begin my life with the beginning of my life, I record that I was born.") He'd have some great stories about Mr. Micawber to tell over dinner.

WAIT A MINUTE!!! THE OP SAID IT HAD TO BE A FICTIONAL CHARACTAR, AND NOBODY IN 5 PAGES HAVE SEEN THAT?

Now if it were a real person that would be invited to dinner or drinks would be General George S. Patton or General Douglas MacAthur.

Take no prisioners, and screw the establisment!! Those bastards were epic!!!

David Copperfield WAS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER, out of a book, even. But I'd agree, among real folks, old George Smith Patton Jr. would be a great guy to have over to dinner.
