From 1995:

"If a bullet can rip through a bulletproof vest like a knife through hot butter, then it ought to be history," Mr. Clinton said in accepting an award from the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence at a police station house accompanied by Chicago's mayor, Richard M. Daley.

Current law bans the manufacture and sale of armor-piercing bullets based on their composition and weight, but Mr. Clinton's proposed bill would empower the Treasury Secretary to issue rules banning handgun bullets based on their ability to pierce a standard bulletproof vest. The regulations would take effect unless Congress overrode them.

It's on there and it's out of stock at this moment but Monday morning (2-16-15) I got an email notification that said 126 cases of 500 rounds were available for $139 each. I bought 4 500 round cases.

You'll miss it if you don't get instock notifications, sorry man

I ordered a 1000 of this Saturday, shipped Monday, shows delivery tomorrow. $295 to the door, it was a little more because I chose the ups shipping.

Can you post a link to this 1000 rounds for 275.00? I have been checking their site for 3 days looking for the reloaded 55gr and it hasn't been in-stock for at least the last 72 hours. I'm not saying you didn't get it for that price because I have bought plenty at that price, just haven't seen it in-stock at all this week.

Granted, .50 a round is high, but your comparing apples to oranges. .223 rounds will always be cheaper than 5.56. Wait until these jack wagons reclassify it and .50 a round will never be seen again.

It's strange how 223 is often times cheaper than 556 even through some .223 (such as wolf gold 223) is actually XM193 5.56 rebranded. That 223 I bought ain't too weak of a round either, that's why I like it.
