Am I reading this right? I'm not from Illinois so maybe I'm misunderstanding something......or not.
So I assume they have registration in Illinois? What mechanism would they use to create such a list?
Don't know if they have actual gun registration or not, but they "register" the owners through the FOID card system. As I understand it, you can't buy a gun there without it.
Hahaha I still have mine in my wallet
AFAIK you can buy ammo in IL if you're from out-of-state only if you have a current IL hunting license. Mine doesn't expire until 2020 though so I'm keeping it around in case I need to buy ammo around there sometime soon.
For a good time: go to an Illinois gun store and talk to the clerks about how much you LOVE having a concealed carry permit, how you plan on buying some NFA guns after your tax return comes, and your rifle (not shotgun) that you use for hunting deer. They will actually turn green with envy. I've seen it.
