On my phone I get 67.4 download and 1.07 upload using just my regular data connection.

Using that phone as a hotspot to another phone, the second phone gets 50.7 down and 22.7 up.

Seems a little weird to me.

Just tried it again and it was 68.1and 7.05 first phone, and 16.2 and 10.2 on the second phone. Upload still faster on the second phone.

Screwy.

That's kind of what I'm thinking.

They keep you throttled so you can't access gov't secret computers.

i know our provider tracks the data our phones use as separate from the data used as a hotspot. It might be that the throttled speeds allowed are different, too.
