Thanks for all the input guys,

I too like the two router method and I have set up guest access that way in the past. I can do without the splash page ( other then it would be a great place to put links to Tulsa landmarks and such. My only major concern is bandwidth control... We are looking at a 30 meg down Fiber link and I gotta set a couple things that will need to take priority and keep the 16 year olds from taking advantage and draining all the bandwidth from all the other guests

SonicWall or Fortinet are both good devices for that sized imp. I no longer install them but can point you to someone who can get you pricing and more information offline if you want.

I saw that but decided in the end that momma would not be too happy with me if I used our router as a guinea pig

Lol... If my wife only knew....

I run 3 wireless routers on our property on DD-WRT... one at each end of the trailer and one in the garage. WRT54Gv2, WRT54Gv8, and WRT54G2v1. They do more tricks than the Ciscos we had at the school that cost 7-10x as much.

Well, I flashed my wrt54gs V.2 with dd-wrt mega and I'm glad I did. LOTS of great stuff. I think with two routers and 8 or so access points I'll be good to go

Thanks guys
