Make sure you point the blame where it belongs,...this is an insurance issue....sighns up or no insurance

.yes sighns

I call BS on that and any business owner that claims it!

Insurance companies are smart. They all know the statistics and they all use actuaries trained the same way to calculate risk and costs. If signs reduced insurance liability (they couldn't give a rats ass about the business' liability unless it becomes theirs) then all of them that provide business insurance would require signs posted on every door of every business because with the same facts they'd all reach the same conclusions. But that demonstrably isn't the case. businesses that post themselves are a small minority. It is owners choice or in the case of corporations large or small CEO/COO choice and that's because they've got an agenda (google is a good example of that).

I was talking to a restaurant owner a couple of weeks ago...new place by where I work. Anyway, they have one of those pro-gun signs posted by the door (I actually found out about the place here on OSA when someone posted a pic of the sign), as I was talking to him, he told me the insurance company almost would not provide him insurance because he had already posted that sign. They finally relented and told him he just couldn't carry his firearm.

After Nov 1 and the liability law goes into effect, insurance companies won't have anything to throw in the faces of business owners.
