Chicago: Mayor basically begs retailers to come back. Some audio links in the link, I only read the print.

Mayor Lightfoot said she was on a conference call with Walmart and other major retailers that had stores looted or heavily damaged during the unrest in Chicago. She said she pleaded with them to not abandon Chicago.

I saw this on another forum and one poster only lives about 10 blocks from this Walmart grocery. He stated it was totally destroyed and it's the only grocery store in that immediate area. If I were Walmart I'd rebuild it....right after she writes a check for the full cost of a new building and initially restocking it. Until then, no dice.

Maybe they will move to Ok. Gov Stitt said the other day he has been in contact with out of state businesses because of our progressive business attitude.
