I love this time of year. Should be sitting outside around the firepit.
The humidity is brutal right now here in east TX, and the temp is supposed to hit 90 today. I’m fairly confident my belt buckle is going to be sweating again today.
Just mowed the weed patch, transplanted some parsley into the garden and now I am sitting in front of the floor fan while whining about the humidity .................. Dry some of the sweat and may have to pour a gin and tonic to muddle some garden mint and squeeze a lime wedge or 2 in!! So there is a silver lining to muggy days in middle America!!
Chilling in the house with the AC on.
To heck with high humidity and temps.
When all this rain moves on, that sun pops, that damn grass is going to start growing faster than I can mow and I hate mowing.

Fever Elderflower tonic..... just saying!!! And the Fever lemon tonic is pretty solid with vodka as well.

Precisely why I quit watering my Bermuda. It goes dormant in hot weather and dormant again in cold. I likee Bermuda grassee.

We did that last night here in Galveston county TX; it’s cool and unseasonably dry.
