I use a Speedy Sharp, it may not be the best but when you actually use the knife and need a quick sharp edge then they are hard to beat, and if you are careful you can even sharpen serrations. They are cheap and can fit just about anywhere. I have a few of them laying around in different places and I have never messed one up or wore it out. They are also good at deburring or scribing metal along with sharpening about anything else you can think of.

Mail it to WillysTruck with a check and have him put a primary bevel and a micro bevel on it and then just touch up the micro bevel on a strop or ceramic ultra fine stone and you'll extend the life of the blade exponentially.

I just got my Wicked Edge Pro in, but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable enough with it that I can do other folk's knives just yet. I've experimented with some different angles and achieved some pretty awesome results, but Microtech isn't known for inexpensive knives so I'm going to say that I'm not ready for Prime time yet.

been using my sharpmaker and a leather strop for over 8 years now. I have on occasion been known to rebevel a knife here or there with my belt sander to get the angles right.

I use that to help keep an edge once sharpened.

The last knife I had Bass Pro "sharpen" was nearly ruined when the guy took it to a paper-wheel on a grinder and nicked the scales (on both sides) as well as jacked up the bevel. I don't know if they do more than just that, but I'd make sure the person doing it knows what he's doing.
