I heard yesturday that he was rumored to be returning to OU because he said "he wasnt satisfied with last season" and I guess wants to try to improve it?
Baker made the transition into the NFL without skipping a beat! Unlike most. That says a LOT.You are obviously an objective person, LMAO! What I am clearly saying is it’s early! VERY EARLY in young Bakers career I think he will be a success but one year does not make him a legendary QB. We’ve seen many QB’s have a good year or two and then poof they are gone. Baker could be one of the greats, but after a year in the league Its to early to put him in the same class as Brett Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway, Peyton Manning , Joe Montana, etc.
I’m not discounting his abilities, nor saying he won’t be one of the greats. Just that we need to give it a few years before we start building shrines and statues........

He'll make more money in MLB than NFL.
Well given his athleticism displayed so far, I got doubts about him being stuck in the minors for too long. Will he hit 40 HRs a year? Probably not, but he's one of those few that are gifted so you never know. Not necessarily true. Baker's contract was over 30 million with 20 guaranteed I believe. Kyler could sign with the A's and never get out of the minors. He's a mini Ricky Henderson IMO but you never know. He goes first round in the NFL and he will get paid.

Kyler is a running QB, that’s what made him so dangerous in college. Baker is a pocket passer for al intents and purposes and those last much longer in the NFL . I’d put my money on Baker making it in the Pro game long before I put any money on Kyler making it. We saw a very similar experiment with RG3 and we was exciting or a our a season and a half, I don’t think Kyler does very well in the NFL, I didn’t hear much criticism about Bakers size being the drawback to his draft status (it was his flag planting, police officer evasions that were his biggest drawbacks) He was going to go I’m the top 10 there was never any doubt. Their isn’t really a prototypical QB anymore but If I were going to draft a QB I’d take Ehlinger before Murray.
Preach on brother.Ehlinger couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat lol. He's Teebow but with less of an arm.
Baker made plays with his legs and his ability to scramble in college, same with NFL, not your traditional pocket passer. Something that makes the Brees, Rodgers, Wilson, etc so dangerous. A significant portion of his plays in college were outside of the pocket. Somehow you figure Baker is the "Pocket passer" and Kyler was the "Running QB." again.... facts..... Kyler passed for 42 TDs and Baker 43 the last year he played at OU. There's a difference of ~30 pass attempts between the two. The difference in yd between the two was Kyler's athletic ability, once he DID actually scramble (usually not designed) he got into open space and nobody could catch him.
