Been too long. Spending too much $$$ on my other hobbies lol. Between Toyota's, Harleys, and Guns I need to win the lotto.
I picked up an Advantage Arms 22 conversion for an extra G17 frame, and I put a couple hundred CCI Mini Mags through it yesterday to try it out. I read a bunch of reviews before buying it but was still skeptical. I’m pleasantly surprised with the fit, finish, and function.
I just got home from work and am planning to try some different ammo this afternoon to see if I can make it malfunction.

Yesterday. Ran a few through the Howa in 7.62x39 I just traded for. Wanted to see where it hit with the can on it.
Today. My 30 yo son came to the dark side and bought a new Springfield 1911. He shoots it way better than any of his polymer pistols. He’s an old soul.
We worked on a few things today, and he got markedly better with everything he shot. It was a really good day.
As an aside, I’m still a really good pistol shot. He’s amazed every time we shoot.
Like riding a bike fellas. When you’ve got it you’ve got it. I’m sure I’m not as good as most, but I’m good enough to put everything in the black from 21’. That’s good enough for me.

First I had a Heritage. I liked it, but it wasn't what I wanted. Then I sold it and got a Ruger Wrangler. I liked it more, but still wasn't what I wanted. Once the Diamondback Sidekick was available I sold the Wrangler and got this. It's exactly what I wanted.
In short, It's a Wrangler that is DA/SA and has a swing out 9 shot cylinder. Also includes a 9-shot 22WMR cylinder.
