I'll have to do some research to answer that one . . . but the engine model number is SV720S build date is 7/17/2006.

Go to www.mytractorforum.com. They have people on there that will tell you what the problem may be and how to fix it. tHey have Cub Cadet, Honda 4514, Craftsman and many more Plus the big tractors.

Yep. Among other things about it that are crappy. Mine has another common problem that amounts to backfiring after being shutoff immediately after being used heavily. If I let it cool down (idle) for a couple min it is good to go. Factory remedy is to kill the engine at full throttle but that is a joke. On the other hand it has 10 years on it and still runs

My brand new 15 hour Husqvarna does that. I have to let it idle at low RPM for about 30 seconds then shut it down. Kinda loud in the shed, BOOOM!

Haven't really messed with it much this week. I'm waiting on a new solenoid and will spend some time going through things when I get that.
