Lawton Ammo Finds: Post What, Where, When

I see that there are threads for ammo sightings in OKC and Tulsa but can't find a dedicated one to Lawton.

I know we don't have much choice (mainly WalMart on Sheridan or 67th) but maybe this will help some.

So, if you see some post it and maybe someone can get what they need.

As of 9:00PM 06/13 (saturday):

Cache Road had about 8 boxes of 100 count WWB 9mm.
Limit of 2.
Damn, my wife is out of town. rotten luck.


Saw some .25, .40 and 44mag at Sheridan earlier.

Just got a case of 9mm 100 packs at WM on Sheridan. As of 06/16--10:15AM there were 8 boxes left. He just opened the case. 2 box limit.

didn't see any, but I can keep my eyes open. I've seen some recently. wasn't it something like 44/100? I don't know.

Dave, thanks for offering to keep an eye out. The ammo I am talking about is the 100rd Federal .223 Value Packs. It is in a red and black box. When the Duncan WalMart had some about a month ago it went for around $40/box. I am looking for 2-3 boxes. Member sabot_round is looking for some as well.

On a side note, the Duncan WalMart had some .40S&W (2 boxes) when I was in there around 6:30 PM.

As of 9:454PM 06/25/09---Sheridan Road Walmart has 9mm WWB 100 round packs. At least 6 left, possible additional case on the truck to be unloaded.

Didn't ask about any other calibers, sorry.

Duncan Walmart has WWB in .40S&W, .38Spec and 7.62x39 as of 7:00PM 7/1/09.

ETA: .44Mag too.
