It's factory. I just now got the budget to start building the thing apart from having a bare rifle. I happened to get a smoking deal on a brand new 12fv (was manufacture just a month or so before I received it earlier this year). Notice the stock has more of a varmint/tactical profile on the forend rather than the majorly ugly savage factory stock boxiness. The picture on their website doesn't even show them that way.

Also, since it's a 12fv, it's gloss finish instead of matte like your 10fp. It's also a 26" barrel instead of a 24". Other than that they are identical.
I totally agree on the B&C stock. I've been drooling over one of those for my stick for months now...

Can't wait to shoot it, but I'm hoping she'll be my budget tight-group shooter. :D I've seen some pretty impressive groups come from 12fv's, so we'll see!

That is much MUCH better looking than the Choate mmchambers!! Not to mention probably better on the range too.

Have you shot it much (at all) yet with the new stock?

I shot 10 rounds through it tonight when I was out sighting my carbine in. I used the monster scope to spot so figured I might as well run a few rounds through it.

The target on the right was the first--5 rounds Federal XM80CS at 100 yards. I fired the first round (about 4" low), turned 16 clicks (1/4 MOA adjustment) up and shot the other 4. Say what you want about my $300 Barfska, but I swear the adjustments are dead on. The turrets are set on 0 MOA LR and .5 MOA up for the four shot group (measures about an inch, maybe a hair less).

The group on the left was 3 shots (same ammo, XM80CS) at 100 yards and measures 3/4" of an inch. I put the other two rounds on steel targets...I couldn't resist...that THUNK is just too damn emotionally satisfying.

Anyways, my Savage doesn't even like the lighter bullets because of the 1:10 twist, but I'm consistently printing sub MOA groups with cheap milsurp machine-gun ammo. The stuff is dirty, but I got a whole case of it and I'm gonna use it.

I'm just now getting into rifle shooting. I've put 75 rounds through the rifle total and that's just about all the experience I have with bolt guns. Holy crap it is fun.

What rifle is this, is that nightforce glass

That's a Remington 700 with a Shillen Match-Grade barrel cut down to (I think) 18" and threaded for an SWR (again, I think) Warlock.

He's got it in a HS Precision Stock with a Millet TRS-1 on top.

I know all of this because its the exact rifle that inspired me to build mine up.

BTW, Josh - what bean-bag rest is that?
