I finally got off work early enough to finish installing CDi Precision Bottom Metal on my Savage 10. This is a nice improvement over the factory 4 rounder.

Next purchase is going to be a nice base and rings. The scope was just put on with extra stuff from my box o'goodies. I need to order a shorter sunshade also if I can ever remember

Is that the CDI bottom metal with the CDI specific mags or the new one with the AI mags that he was talking about making?

Accuracy International AICS mags. Also, I found out that that the Savage factory mags from my 10BAS-K work in it, and the AICS mags work in my 10BAS-K

Ah crap - I just realized that I was thinking of Seekins (with the cool side-button mag-release) and got excited about their new bottom metal system - CDI is completely different (but very cool).

That's pretty cool that your BAS-K would take AI mags without modification.

Although not mine...shot it at a school a while back. Believe it was a Barrett .50 w/ Nightforce optics (its been 5 1/2 yrs so I'm digging deep for the memory here). It doesn't look big on the ground but holding it shows a better comparison of me v. rifle. Ahhh .50 cal goodness!
