DTA SRS (.308 & .338LM) w/AAC Titanium Titan QD

ai93.photobucket.com_albums_l69_armorgod_DTASRS.jpg

Thats one of the rifles they had on the ultimate weapons series correct? all you do to change barrels to loosen the allen screws just above the trigger assembly and the barrel comes out. then you change out the bolt assembly and your good to go. out of curiosity what does one of those cost????

p.s. i think M3 should take us all out for a range day sometime and have at it. of course there may be a chance you would leave with fewer guns than you showed up with :thumbup3:

Yes sir, that's correct!

The "chasis" is about $2K and each one of the barrel/bolt combos is around $1.5K. They offer .243, .308, .300WM & .338LM.

It's finally done!

Specs:

Remington 700 with a trued and blue printed action, custom fluted barrel with break thanks to QTRMOA (Chris), IOR 6x24 optic setting in a nice AICS 1.5, resting on a Harris Bi-Pod. Again Chris (QTRMOA) helped me with a hand load that produces really nice groups. I'm now just taking time to learn my setup, we are courting you might say....

Update: I've now got a great load worked up for this little baby and it can easily out shoot my skills...

It likes:
175gn SIE MK HPBT
43.4gn Varget
Fed 210m primer
Winchester Brass
2.800" OAL

When I can truly control my breathing and trigger, I got a nice quarter size 5 shot group. I'll post pics of those 5 shots soon. I'm really loving this gun and they way it feels.

To answer EZBake... the IOR is not FFP. I really like this optic and the more I look through it, the more I approve my purchase. I now have everything zero'd and just love the fact I can quickly adjust for elevation and my point of impact is just where I expect it to be.

The more I get behind a precision rifle, the more I respect those in the service tasked with protecting the lives of our soldiers. It is such a sense of accomplishment to have an amazing rifle, an accurate hand load and the comfort of knowing where my bullet will go...

Anyone looking at making this transition, I highly recommend it!

I feel like a noob... but here's mine.

Tikka T3 Lite .223 1/8"

Karsten Cheek Piece

Accu-Shot Monopod

Caldwell XLA 6-9

Burris Fullfield II (Soon, SWFA SS)

Dednutz Scope Rings.

At least it pretty much has the smoothest action you'll ever feel... Shoots good too.

man this thread is making me jealous. my wife's uncle builds custom rigs and is well known in snipershide. he's putting together one for me right now so i'm taking his suggestions on all of the components. damn 3 month wait just for the stock, but i shot his and fell in love with it, so i don't want to settle for anything less now
