My rifle as it sits now.
Rem 700 ADL .243 Win.
Trigger is about ~2.5lbs and very crisp.
B&C A2 Tactical Medalist
BDL bottom metal
EGW 0 moa pic scope base
Burris XTR 30mm med rings
Mueller APT 4.5-14x40 30mm MilDot
Harris #9 bipod adapter
Noname bipod (for now)
Still need to get out and work up a best load for it. I'll get a pic of my target from yesterday up soon. Nothing to brag about, but I'm happy for the first 9 rounds down the tube since I added all the above to it.
The B&C recoils so much better than the Choate that was on it. It was mild before, even for comparable weight/chambered rifles, but now the bark is far worse than the bite. Actually, I thought the first round was a dud, it was so soft. But every one following was the same. I never believed it when people would talk about the stock's fit making the recoil manageable, but this has made me a believer.
