Aussie coachwood can get very brittle. I have heard of some stocks completely splintering. They had a way to reinforce the stock. Do a search on the proper method to reinforce the draws.

You might try this place for replacement stocks, although it looks expensive.

Liberty Tree - I have bought a lot from them.

May not be Lithgow but $105 is a decent price if the wood is good

I’ll pass on liberty tree. They basically have the same issues as the one I’m working.
