Short on thought power ?. OU has real championships. lOSUr st does not. In about 521 years lOSUr st might have half as many Championships as OU but you shouldn't count on it.

LOTS of 'upside' to Brent Venables. Besides the obvious (OU and SEC experience, etc), he was responsible for Clemson's recruiting in Kansas and Oklahoma - so he still has good relationships with high schools here. I like OU's possibilities with Brent, especially if he gathers quality assistant coaches.

I'm hoping he can hold the recriuting classes together. I'm sure getting an OC and that is his number one priority right now.

Oklahoma To Add Ole Miss OC Jeff Lebby, Former Strength Coach Jerry Schmidt To Venables' Staff

The Oklahoma Sooners coaching staff is starting to fill out, according to News 9's Lee Benson. A source confirmed to Benson on Tuesday that Ole Miss Offensive Coordinator Jeff Lebby and Texas A&M Strength and Conditioning coach Jerry Schmidt will join Venables' staff at Oklahoma.
